FranchescaI don’t know about you but when I was a tattoo virgin getting your first was a scary but exciting experience. Let me give you a little insight of the tattooing process from start to finish..
Step 1 - Paperwork
First, you’ll complete paperwork, age verification and payment.
Step 2 - The Chair
You’ll be directed to a bench, a regular chair or a chair just like
the one you’d sit in at the dentist’s - nothing scary so far 
Step 3 - Preparation
Your artist will shave and clean the area where your tattoo will be.
If you’ve got a head full of hair, you’re going to look a little
silly :p
Step 4 - The Stencil
A stencil of your tattoo will be made and applied to your skin to
act as a guide for your artist.
Step 5 - Coloring In
The line work of the tattoo will be done, followed by the coloring
and shading.
Step 6 - The Bandage
Your new tat will be bandaged and your tattoo artist will bring you up to speed on how to take care of the tattoo, commonly referred to as ‘after care’.
Once all the tears are over ‘voila’ there you have your new tattoo! I hope that’s painted a nice picture for you as to how my tattoo experience went - smooth as a baby’s behind!
